Our Process

Build Phase Custom Home Construction

Most builders sell you a price and figure out the details as they go. We do the opposite.

Where Discipline Meets Craft

Construction is where intention becomes reality. Every detail decided in Design is now built, coordinated, and quality-controlled in the field. One dedicated project manager runs your job coordinating subcontractors, managing the schedule, walking the site daily, and serving as your single point of contact throughout.

Quality Control at Every Stage

We do not wait until the end to find problems. Our project manager conducts documented checkpoints at every major stage — framing, mechanical rough-in, insulation, drywall, and pre-finish. Issues caught early cost less, take less time, and produce a better final result. Many of our quality-control protocols originated from problems other builders left for us to repair. We learned the hard way so our clients don’t have to

Common Questions

FAQ About the Build Phase

How often will I visit the site?

We schedule weekly client site meetings on active builds. Many clients visit more frequently we welcome it with coordination. Out-of-town clients sometimes visit only a few times during construction and rely on our weekly photo and progress reports, which we provide in detail.

It will. Construction is a complex undertaking and surprises are part of it a buried obstruction, a material backorder, a code interpretation that changes mid-project. Our job is to surface the issue immediately, present you with options and their cost and schedule implications, and execute your decision. We do not hide problems. They always get worse when hidden.

Many clients tell us when the project is over that they slept better during their Forest Heart build than they expected. That is the goal. Communication, transparency, and a project manager who returns your call are the antidote to the construction stress most homeowners dread.
